Teyana Taylor has filed a case claiming Iman Shumpert of cutting off the utilities in the house she resides in with their 2 young daughters.
As per to the filing, Teyana woke up in the Georgia house they used to live, just to find the cable and wifi had been turned off.
A day later, the water was cut off.
Iman Shumpert came out of the house in October 2023, and Teyana Taylor says he has not paid child support or covered any of the girls’ expenses – additionally food and clothing costs.
Iman’s brother, who handles his private affairs, advised Teyana her estranged spouse also plans to shut the power off.
On top of the utility drama, Teyana asserts Iman left her holding the bag on $200,000 worth of house renovations he began 3 years ago.
In her lawsuit, Teyana said Iman told her his money is now tied up in investments, and if she covers the expenses up front he would reimburse her.
Because their split is pending, both parties are obligated to setup the status quo on their house and finances until the split is finalized.
Teyana Taylor is questioning the court to find Iman Shumpert in contempt for violating the order.
She is also questioning the court to enforce Iman’s child support payments.
It’s so bad to see Teyana and Iman go from “besties” to this. Perhaps, they will be able to move forward with their divorce lawsuit amicably for the sake of their precious girls.
